As you may or may not know, Lyric Arts has been working hard at cleaning up our rehearsal room to make it more of a space that inspires creative expression during our rehearsals and workshops and less of a space that inspires a rummage sale. You see, over the last 18 years, we had collected a whole lot of stuff.
And, we had numerous pieces of furniture that we didn't use very often but didn't want to get rid of. Thanks to Ramsey Mini-Storage, who donated some storage space to us for a year, we were able to move most of those big, important pieces off-site.
Then, led by Technical Director Karen Tait and Propsmaster Marcie Anderson, we really cleaned house!
We got rid of all the things we didn't need, giving us room to organize all the things we did need. (And, to make room for the stuff we still don't have!)
Now, we are on the home stretch and we need your help! We are looking for volunteers in the form actors, designers, technicians, and anyone else who would like to help Lyric Arts complete the transformation of this very important and frequently used space. Please consider giving whatever time you can...even if it is just a couple of hours!
