Yeow! We got through almost the entire show with just a few stops to do a little more cleaning up and tightening of scenes, along with working some scene shifts. With the exception of a few change of scene moments that we haven’t worked on much, the show is coming together very nicely. The dance numbers are looking good (that is, the ones I'm not dancing in). The few dance numbers I'm in are feeling good. It was real nice to get through the whole first act, as we haven't done that in a long time. Act II is coming along, but there are a few scenes that we need to clean up. We ended the night with the entrance of the surrey, that we haven't worked since getting an actual surrey. Thursday night is a Sit and Sing. Stay tuned, no pun intended, to find out what a Sit and Sing is...

IN THE NEWS: ABC Newspapers recent story about Lyric Arts 21st Season Opening Show, "Wait Until Dark"
From Lyric Arts Resident Director Scott Ford
Good suspense leaves us heavily invested in plot and character. We hate it and love it at the same time. We vicariously experience danger and anxiety while looking forward to the satisfaction of the eventual resolution for our hero.
