Announcing the Cast of "Urinetown The Musical"

After a sold out run of A Christmas Story, Resident Director Matt McNabb returns to Lyric Arts to direct the musical Urinetown The Musical which runs March 10th through April 2nd. Urinetown The Musical is the winner of three Tony awards including Best Book of a Musical, Best Score and Best Direction. This hilarious satire  takes place in a Gotham-like city after a 20-year drought that has caused a terrible water shortage. This ultimately leads to the government enforcing a ban on private toilets and even charging citizens to use public ones. As one hero decides to plan a revolution to lead them all to freedom, audiences are taken on a hilarious yet touchingly honest journey which provides a fresh perspective of one of America's greatest art forms.
