School Day Matinees are made available to school groups (including home school and day care groups) of ten or more at the special price of $6 per ticket. Receive on free teacher ticket with every 12 student tickets reserved.
Performance times for matinees are determined by the first group to book a performance on each day, Morning performances need to begin between 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Afternoon performances need to begin between 1:00 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.
Please reserve early, as performances fill quickly. Reservations are for general seating. No tickets will be issued. You reservation guarantees your seats. Seating in the theater is based on group size.
To book a School Day Matinee performance for your group:
1. Determine the number of seats needed for your group
2. Contact the Main Street Stage Box Office (info@lyricarts.org,or 763-422-1838), Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
3. The following information is needed to book a school day matinee:
a. Name of contact person for group
b. Name of school or home school group
c. Mailing address of the school
d. Contact person’s phone number and e-mail address
e. Grade level of students attending
f. Number of students attending along with the number of teachers and chaperones attending
g. Special seating requests, including seating for students using wheelchairs or with limited mobility
h. First and second choices for performance dates and times
