Your contribution to our Annual Campaign will directly support all of Lyric Arts’ artistic programming, making it possible for us to produce affordable, high-quality performing arts for audience members of all ages and to bring the community together through the magic of live theater.
Did you know that the royalties and script and music rental for this season’s Oliver! will cost Lyric Arts over $13,500? And, that only gives us the right to say that we would like to produce the show as part of our season.
When we include things like lumber and paint for sets, fabric for costumes, lighting equipment, and other expenses, a show like Oliver! will cost Lyric Arts almost $30,000 to produce!

Mainly for Kids Productions and School Day Matinees
Since 1999, Lyric Arts Company has provided high-quality theatrical experiences for school groups with School Day Matinee performances of our “Mainly for Kids” productions. These selections are specifically designed to entertain students while introducing them to the performing arts and classic storytelling.
School Day Matinees are made available to school groups on weekdays at only $6 per ticket. We also offer weekend performances of these productions to the public at a reduced rate. Your gift in support of these productions helps us to keep ticket prices affordable of families and schoolchildren of every economic status.
Education
At Lyric Arts Main Street Stage, we are committed to providing high-quality learning and performing opportunities and, in the spirit of that mission, we are proud to offer theater workshops, drama classes for groups, and acting lessons for individuals. Our popular workshops offer students the opportunity to develop performing skills and build self-confidence through exercises in song, stage movement, voice projection, acting technique and improvisation. Your gift in support of this project will be used to defray the cost of workshops and help Lyric Arts by supplies for use in education.
Outreach
With a generous grant from COMPAS through the Medtronic Arts Access Program, Lyric Arts is able to take a free touring production to senior centers in the community and surrounding areas. Your gift in support of this project would help Lyric Arts expand our outreach project.
ASL Interpretation
Lyric Arts provides American Sign Language interpretation for every production in the season. Your gift will help us defray the cost of interpretors.
