Current Season

Auditions at Lyric Arts are open to everyone.  We ask each actor to complete an audition form upon arrival with information about experience, conflicts, etc. so we think that its best for you to bring an adult with you if you are under the age of 18.  There are separate auditions for each show so the best way to find out all the details is to visit the Auditions page and click on the show title.

Theater for Young Performers

While some of our productions have opportunities for young actors, 2015-2016 is the first year for our Theater for Young Performers production program.  Scripts for these productions are specifically selected because the great majority of the roles are intended for young actors.  This program focuses on providing important and challenging opportunities for performers, designers and theater technicians under the age of 18.  From auditions to the final bow, the cast and crew in these shows will experience what it's like to participate as artists in their own right in the creation of a fully-realized theatrical production.  A dedicated team of professional designers, directors, and technicians will use their expertise to encourage you to explore your artistic voice and to discover more about yourself.

This year our Theater for Young Performers production is Revenge of the Space Pandas. You can find out more about the production and performance dates here.

Private Coaching

Lyric Arts provides space for our Teaching Artists to provide private coaching in audition prep, musical theater, Shakespearean acting, and more.  Lessons are by appointment and at the discretion of each individual coach (subject to space availability).  Fees are also set by each individual coach.  Visit our Teen Page to find out more about our coaches and how to set up your lessons.
