GRADES K–2

DANCE. SING. ACT.

Our Little Kids program offers young children an opportunity to try out the world of theater.

Students will build self-confidence, learn how to use their imagination and creativity to tell stories, and explore the arts through dramatic play.

In our Story Theater workshops, we work with our students to create their own modest, unique stage adaptations of popular books and series.

Students in our Playmaking and Music & Movement workshops dig a little deeper into fundamental artistic skills such as using tools and materials imaginatively or learning how to take creative risks.

Music & Movement: I Really Love to Dance

Get ready to groove to the fun, infectious—and sometimes down-right silly—music of The Laurie Berkner Band. With songs like Rocketship Run, We Are the Dinosaurs, I Really Love to Dance, Victor Vito, and more, students will create characters and tell stories with their bodies while moving to the music.

Thursdays, Sep 13–Oct 4, 4:45–6:15 pm (4 sessions)

COST: $70 tuition

Musical Theater Mash-Up: Disney Extravaganza

Disney movies like Moana, The Lion King, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast, are filled with incredible songs and characters. Young actors will have fun learning the fundamentals of musical theater—strong voices, expressive movement, and character creation—while building self-confidence as performers.

Mondays, Oct 22–Dec 17, 4:45–6:15 pm (8 sessions, no class on Dec 3)

COST: $130 tuition
