Volunteering

Volunteers are special people who dedicate their time to help people, organizations, and charities. As a non-profit organization, Lyric Arts Main Street Stage depends on volunteers to help keep the theater alive. Without our volunteers, we would not exist.

In a theater, many different skills and talents are combined in order to achieve a common goal. Your unique talents might be more highly valued than you realize. For example, we need people who can:

  • help apply makeup and style hair
  • help sew costumes
  • help build sets
  • help hang and focus stage lighting
  • help with “interior design” on our sets
  • help organize events

Check the links at the left for ideas about ways you can get involved.

If you are interested in volunteering at Lyric Arts please contact Volunteer Coordinator Paula Gutterud (763-433-2510, ext 106, volunteer@lyricarts.org).

Lyric Arts’ Century Club honors volunteers who donate over 100 hours in a year.
