During the school year, homeschool families and co-ops can take advantage of theatrical education at the Lyric Arts Main Street Stage! Young actors build important real-life social skills like cooperation, creative problem-solving, and leadership while learning more about theatrical terminology and the artistic process of rehearsal and performance.

Lyric Arts will design a workshop or series of workshops to meet the needs and interests of your students (ages 2 and up).  We’ll work with you to custom-tailor a program that works with your schedule and learning goals.  We’ll provide the teaching artist, classroom and/or performance space, and all materials – including access to our sets, costumes, props, lights and more!

Possible topics include:

Acting
Audition Prep
Creative Play (PreK)
Improvisation and Sketch Comedy
Musical Theater
Private Coaching
Shakespeare (study and performance)
Spoken Word and Playwriting
Student Productions
Technical Theater and Design

Don’t see the topic you want?  No problem. We’ve got experience in designing a wide range of curriculum beyond the topics listed above.  Just contact our Education Director, Cassandra Proball, at 763.233.0804 or cassandra@lyricarts.org to create your own unique program!
