Lyric Arts’ presentation of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof delivers audiences a hair-raising drama with much to ponder. Playwright Tennessee Williams created multi-dimensional, filled with admirable qualities and stark flaws. Real Drama on the Main Street Stage

In today’s entertainment industry, excessive foul language and sexual content is commonplace. So it’s no surprise to me that hearing a warning like “This production is intended for mature audiences…It contains adult situations, adult themes and strong language” can and will turn some people away from seeing a show like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. While there is definitely adult language and situations in this show, it’s not excessive or out of place. It’s real. Read more…
