Matthew McNabb, Director
Matthew McNabb is thrilled to return to Lyric Arts! Matthew has previously directed Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, Wait Until Dark, and The Pirates of Penzance for the Lyric Arts Main Street Stage. Other favorite directing credits include West Side Story, Into The Woods, Aida, Assassins, Footloose, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Les Misrables, Wit, The Telephone and High School Musical.
Matthew is the founder and artistic director of Anoka Community Theatre and the head of the Anoka High School Theatre Department.
Andy Kust, Music Director
Andy Kust is an active performer, educator and music director in the Twin Cities. A recent graduate of Luther College with a degree in Vocal Performance, Andy has held positions with Roseville High School, Rogers High School and is active as a freelance artist, having worked with organizations that include The Director’s Studio, MacPhail School of Music, The Music Box Theater, Minneapolis Musical Theatre, Elk River Theater and Youth Theatre Workshop. Recent productions include Godspell, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Sound of Music, Edges, and The Light in the Piazza. Andy is very excited to collaborate on Footloose and serve as music director for the first time with Lyric Arts. This is certain to be a fantastically energetic and poignant musical!
Jennifer Crist, Choreographer
Kevin Todd, Stage Manager
Todd Edwards, Set Designer
Todd is happy to be retuning to Lyric Arts where he recently designed scenery for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in 2010. His work was most recently seen in Sylvia at the Chameleon Theatre Circle and St. Olaf College’s production of Assassins. He will be making his design début with Frank Theatre in September with Eclipsed. He has an MFA in Theatrical Design and Production, having designed scenery, lighting and sound for more than 130 productions nationally and internationally. His work has been seen locally at the MN Fringe, Commonweal Theatre, Chameleon Theatre Circle, MN Shakespeare Festival, St. Olaf College, Northfield Arts Guild (NAG) and Starting Gate. Todd is also a Fight Director and member of the Society of American Fight Directors having just served as the Fight Director for Romeo and Juliet for the NAG’s Shakespeare in the park. In addition to his freelance work, Todd is the Technical Director and member of the Design/Tech faculty at St. Olaf College.
Lisa Magone, Costume Deisgner
Lisa Mangone has been designing costumes in the Twin Cities for the past ten years. You can see her work seasonally at Century College where she is the Costume Shop Supervisor and Designer. She enjoys designing costumes and stage managing for Stages Theatre Company where she has worked on over a dozen productions. She has an eight year history at the Guthrie theatre. Among costume design she has been director, actor, stage manager, and wardrobe for a numerous theatre companies including: Mu performing Arts, Penumbra Theatre Company, Anoka High School, Cromulent Shakespeare Company, Finnish National Opera MN Tour, Billy Graham International Tours (Minsk, Belerus), Mu Performing Arts, University or MN Crisis Point Theatre, and Concordia University, where she received my undergraduate degree in theatre.
