With the tragedy of the earthquakes in Haiti, Lyric Arts can’t think of a better time to lend a hand. For every ticket that is purchased to Oliver!, Lyric Arts will donate 17 cents to Feed My Starving Children.
That may not seem like much, but that is the exact cost of a meal that is given to a child in need. You don’t have to do anything more than purchase a ticket to Oliver! and you’ll be supporting a non-profit community theater, and literally feeding a starving child.
During the run of Oliver! Lyric Arts will be collecting non-perishable food items! Bring your can goods to a performance of Oliver! for the ACBC Food Shelf.
The Anoka County Brotherhood Council (ACBC) helps families in the Andover, Anoka, Coon Rapids, Nowthen, Oak Grove, Ramsey, and part of Champlin area who are living in hunger.
This is an opportunity where you can help your neighbors to have a good meal!
