Grab your beach ball and sunscreen and get ready for the Fishing Widows' Cabaret! Our only fundraising event of the year, the 2008 cabaret, Beach Party Bonanza, is reminiscent of all your favorite 1960's beach party films. Doors open at 6:30, giving you plenty of time to bid on a new bikini for your favorite beach bunny (or something flashy for yourself) in our always-impressive silent auction. Then, at 7:30. the doors open for our groovy beach-themed variety show. A swashbuckling comic adventure, these Midwestern pirates with a flair for the dramatic are sure to have you land-lubbers "har-har-ing" all evening long. As the annual carnival ball at the Madame Dubonnet's finishing school approaches, all the girls are anxious to find a boyfriend, and all of them have specific candidates in mind. Will they be able to overcome all the obstacles on their path to love and unite with the boys of their dreams at the ball? This rousing musical features stunning production numbers featuring all the style of the 1920's and all the splendor of true love.
