Lyric Arts Pre-School theatre education workshops are designed for a child and an adult caregiver, like a mom, dad, or grandparent, to take together. PLAYtime workshops are immersive and experiential, focusing on the playful process of theater instead of creating a performance. Students build fundamental literacy skills in vocabulary and story sequence as caregivers sharpen their skills in the kind of creative play that encourages pre-school learning in a fun and relaxed way.
Children are naturally drawn to music! By engaging your children in music classes you are no only giving them a "leg-up" on their musical development but on all other educational pursuits as well.
Musikgarten brings you and your child closer with rhythm instruments to play along and nurture the musician that is in every child. Your child will also gain tools in listening and body control, which are valuable tools to learn whether your child just started school or is about to begin!
Toddlers learn through sound exploration and movement. They sing, chant, move, dance, listen and play simple instruments—a full mix that allows them to be active, which is how a toddler learns.
Learning continues throughout the week in the home environment. Participants receive CDs, family activity guides and simple instruments that parents may use over the summer session as they continue making music with their child at home.
