Positive messages

All of the violence, both onstage and descriptions of offstage events, are for comic effect.  Alice contemplates the dangers of hot pokers, knives, and poison; describes how much her cat likes to eat birds; and threatens to pick the Flowers.  The Cook, Duchess and Alice are almost hit by flying dishes, but in this adaptation the rhyme in that scene describes “tweaking” not beating the baby.  Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee battle with a sword and umbrella over their pants, each striking a single blow and then giving up.  Some Wonderland characters call Alice names and there is a constant discussion and threat of the Queen ordering beheadings.

There is no reference to sex.

There is no use of obscene or offensive language.

Drinking, drugs & smoking

Although in popular culture the story of Alice in Wonderland has become associated with drug references, there are no references to drinking, smoking, or drugs in this adaptation.
