There are two instances of physical violence seen onstage between characters. The first is an intentional punch to the face. The second is an out-of-control "Bend and Snap" that results in a broken nose.



There are a few sexual references and innuendos. The Harvard Law students discuss the case of Russell v. Sullivan, a case whose details involve paternity and masturbation. Elle shows up to a house party as a Playboy bunny. In addition, due to her looks, Elle is subjected to multiple instances of unwarranted slut-shaming and gets hit on by one of her peers.
