Mastering Monologues for Comedy

Directors will often ask actors to perform a monologue, a long speech delivered by a single actor, when auditioning for a show.  In fact, our upcoming auditions for The Explorer’s Club ask for actors to prepare a short comedic monologue.  But how do you choose a monologue that’s right for you AND the production you are auditioning for?  Cassandra Cutler Proball, Education Director at Lyric Arts, brings a decade of directing experience to help guide you through the world of monologues.  Students will learn about the different types of comedic monologues and how to best choose and prepare for auditions. Don’t miss this great opportunity to become a monologue master! Open to ages 18+.
