Homeschool Groups and Co-ops can now take advantage of theatrical education at Lyric Arts Main Street Stage! We have programs designed just for your group. We need a minimum of 10 Students to plan your program.
Produce a Play
If you have some budding actors in your homeschool group, we can help you choose, rehearse and perform a play. Daytime rehearsals are held in our back rehearsal space and your final performance is held on the main stage for family and friends. A professional Lyric Arts Director will guide you through the 6-week process of producing a fun and challenging final performance, teaching you all about the theater along the way.
Program Length: 12 Sessions (6 Weeks, 2 Sessions per Week)
Rehearsal time is flexible, taking into consideration your group’s schedule and the Lyric Arts building schedule.
Tuition: $100.00 per student
10 Student minimum, 25 student maxim
Educational Workshops
This 6-week program meets once a week for 1 1/2 hours and focuses on theatrical education. Students learn about stage positions, character building, improvisation, voice projection and more. Each program has it’s own theme with a final presentation on the last day of class for family and friends.
Class times can be scheduled during the week, during the day at a time that works best for your group.
There are several classes to choose from: Narnia, Play Writing, American Girl, Improvisation, Lord of the Rings, Search for Treasure Island, Mysteries! and much more.
Tuition: $90.00 per student
10 Student minimum, 25 student maximum
