Teens (grades 9-12)

Our workshops for teens help students further their education and expose them to various areas of acting and theater. Students will be challenged to think critically about the material, hone in on performance quality, and push themselves to new performance levels.

Students should wear comfortable shoes (no flip flops or clogs) and bring a water bottle to each class.

Triple Threat: All That Jazz (#10517)

Choreographer Bob Fosse changed the course of Broadway musicals with his distinctive style of dance.  It’s not only Broadway that has been changed – many performers such as Beyonce and Michael Jackson incorporated Fosse’s style into their routines. Fosse’s style is deceptively simplistic; however it takes much training to perform it correctly. Come learn choreography from favorites like: “Nowadays/The Hot Honey Rag” (from Chicago) “Steamed Heat” (from The Pajama Game), and “Big Spender” (from Sweet Charity). This class is a must for anyone interested in pursuing musical theater! Want a challenge? Register for the Intensive Choreography Session below as well!
