Our ’Little Kids’ program offers young children an opportunity to try out the world of theater. Choose from a week day program or a weekend program. Parents are invited to relax in our beautiful lobby area while students have fun exploring wonderful characters. A final class presentation will be presented to family and friends on the last day of class.
Students should wear comfortable shoes (no flip flops or clogs) and bring a water bottle and easy to eat PEANUT FREE snack to class each day.

Today I Feel Silly (#10290) Ages 4, 5, & 6
Inspired by the bestselling children’s story written by Jamie Lee Curtis, this workshop explores our moods and emotions and how we can use them on stage. Silly, cranky, excited, or sad–everyone has moods. You’ll have tons of fun exploring these emotions through zany verse and stage fun!
Instructor: Lisa Denninger – Lisa is a regular Workshop Instructor at Lyric Arts and recently played the role of Sherrie in our production of Dixie Swim Club.

Super Duper Seuss! (#10291) Ages 4, 5, & 6
All of the characters you know and love –Horton, the Cat in the Hat, Thing One and Thing Two – burst into full color fun on stage. Who will you be? Yertle the Turtle? A Who from Whoville? The Grinch? All you need is your imagination to help bring a crazy, mixed up Dr. Seuss story to life!
Instructor: Laura Bidgood – Laura directed both of our 2011-2012 Mainly For Kids productions: A Spell of Cold Weather and Pinkalicous the Musical. Laura was last seen performing on our Lyric Arts stage in Mr. A’s Amazing Maze Plays.

Bad Kitty has a way of driving everyone to near madness by her mischief. She doesn’t always mean to cause trouble…but trouble always seems to find her! Join us as we bring Nick Bruel’s crazy cat character to life. Learning about performing has never been so cat-tastic!
